This is a Defensive Tactics Instructor Training course designed for law enforcement and security professionals. This comprehensive course covers essential skills and techniques in subject control and restraint. You will learn physical techniques for handcuffing, grappling, pressure points, etc... You will learn principles of officer / subject safety. We will discuss considerations for impact weapons, restraint sprays, and other devices. We will discuss use of force legal and policy considerations. This course will cover the use of force guidelines such as control continuums. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from certified instructors and become proficient in the ADAPT Training System.
